By completing a form and submitting a video via the You’ve Got Moves web site, the user contributed “moves” to a new work of live choreography.  The user generated moves form the movement language from which the dance is generated. The purpose of this project was to involve the audience in the early stages of the dancemaking process, forging new connections between audiences, dance performance works, and the choreographic process. Developed at NYU’s ITP grad program.
